Happy Souls. Percy Tau he just got the kasi flavour.

Percy Tau scored two more excellent goals for Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday – and could have had more – taking his tally for the season to six already.

The 22-year-old is in scintillating form for the high-flying Brazilians and besides the number of goals he has scored, it is the quality of those strikes that have caught the eye.

Tau’s first goal in the 4-1 win over Free State Stars was a text-book hanging header to send Tebogo Langerman’s cross back across Thela Ngobeni without a fuss

The question is do you remember them? It is funny how time flies, few years back we were just excited to watch them playing on Diski99, Mboro Tournament. But today we watch most of them live, the likes of William, Sgobe, Zulu, Nsiki and many more.

We really appreciate OverLand for giving us an opportunity of seeing them growing in front of us, from the flavour of our Kasi Diski. We are looking forward on watching them live on SABC 1 and achieving their goals.

Do you think that he is getting enough game time?

The manager of Baroka told KasiDiski crew that Skhwama is at Baroka to stay and make the football fans happy. Recently the were rumours that Orlando Pirates wanted to sign Skhwama, but the Baroka manager told them that he is not for sale. Yet if they really want him they can have him for 15 million rands.

Skhwama told KasiDiski crew that he is not going to leave Baroka any soon, because it is the team that gave him a very huge opportunity to show his different style of play in the PSL side, and even mentioned that Baroka is the best team when it comes to giving playing from kasi football a chance to shine. He mentioned the likes of Sipho "Sgobe"  Moeti, saying that he is one of the players he played against in the kasi football, but today they are playing together.

He agrees that Kasi football and PSL football are way too different, but yet he is able to differentiate the two by his style of play.

He is doing it again...When is he going to start grow up?

Royal Eagles coach Kosta Papic has confirmed that Masibusane Zongo is still not back with the club and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

The 26-year-old, who joined Eagles towards the end of last season after his dismissal from Platinum Stars, was granted time off to attend to personal issues earlier this month.

"No [Zongo has not ret returned]. The management is [trying to find out where he is] and so far I don’t have any further information," Papic"

The former Orlando Pirates mentor recognises that many are calling for Zongo to feature in a game for Eagles as they wish to be entertained by his skills, but the Serb reamins steadfast in his assertions that positive results are more likely to draw fans than showboating.

"I want to tell those in the newspapers that they must understand there’s no player at work who’s going to make people happy if he’s doing these kind of things only to make fans happy," Papic explains.

"When he is scoring goals, people will come to the stadium to pay for tickets to watch football. Yes everybody likes it [tricks], there’s no doubt about it but is it useful?
"You must be professional in your life, your job, everything."

Don't you miss him on the big screens? "Masibusane Zongo"

Masibusane Zongo has joined Royal Eagles on a two-year deal, as confirmed by the National First Division club.

The talented but controversial player finished the season without a club. Having started off with Platinum Stars where he became one of their most influential players due to some inspiring performances, Zongo was released from the Phokeng club last month for disciplinary issues.
Eagles’ general manager Richard Makhoba has confirmed that the 26-year-old has been signed by the KZN outfit ahead of the 2016/17 season.

“We have welcomed Zongo to our club. There is no doubt in his ability and we believe that he will add value to the club. We have a good environment here and are confident that he will fit into our environment,” said Makhoba.


Eagles have also been linked with experienced striker Sthembiso Ngcobo from Free State Stars, who is among the potential transfer targets for the side.

Baroka FC midfielder Sipho 'Sgobe' Moeti wants his team to appeal the yellow card he received after showboating against Platinum Stars in the Telkom Knockout on Sunday.

Moeti got the fans going by kneeling on the ball at Peter Mokaba Stadium but picked up a caution in the process.

"I was disappointed with the yellow card. I believe the opponent was far and I was within my right to show off my skill," Moeti
"We were off today (from training). I am going to speak to the club tomorrow and see if they can appeal against the yellow card."

Moeti believes players should be allowed to express themselves on the field and insists he will continue to entertain this season.
"Those who defend must defend. Those who pass must pass the ball. Those who have skill, let them show it," says the Soweto-born trickster.

"I grew up in Zondi. This is where I grew up entertaining fans with my skill. I am still going to do more of it as long as my team is winning and in the right places. Football fans come to the stadium for entertainment. Let's give them goals and skills on the field of play."

Bakgaga beat Dikwena 3-1 in the last-16 tie in Polokwane.

Kgoloko Thobejane's men next face neighbours Polokwane City in the league this Sunday.
